EMAC to take part in Dallas VideoFest 2009

***attention EMAC students***

EMAC will be part of Dallas VideoFest 2009 & you can be a part of it, too!

Just send us a few of your YouTube/Vimeo /Metacafe or any other online video picks by Tuesday Oct 20th for a chance to be included in EMAC’s hour long online social video program curated by media artists/PhD students Kyle Kondas and Mona Kasra.

User-generated videos are everywhere on the web these days, but EMAC VideoFest program is specifically looking for those that utilize the online video platforms as creative outlets and span the possibilities of social video beyond the general content sharing practices. Nominated videos can be from variety of styles and genres including mashups, webcam videos, fiction, nonfiction, social, political,… but must exhibit originality and creativity.

Email us the links to your online video picks at utdemac@gmail.com no later than Tuesday Oct 20th. Don’t forget to include your preferred contact info (for example your twitter ID). we would like to credit you correctly if your video gets selected!

At the meantime, mark your calendars for:
